FUJI GOMU INDUSTRY Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “the Company”) recognizes the importance of personal information obtained from stakeholders and considers its protection as a fundamental aspect of our business activities and one of the most important management issues. To provide safe, secure, and trustworthy services to everyone, we have established the following basic policy, which is thoroughly communicated to all employees and strictly adhered to.

  1. The Company complies with the Japanese Personal Information Protection Law and other related laws and regulations. We have established internal regulations concerning personal information protection (hereinafter referred to as “Company Regulations”), which are implemented, maintained, and continuously improved.
  2. The Company establishes a management system for personal information protection and ensures that Company Regulations are known and strictly followed by all officers and employees.
  3. The Company handles personal information within the scope of the purposes of use explicitly stated to customers. We do not disclose or provide personal information to third parties without the customer’s consent or a legitimate reason.
  4. The Company keeps personal information accurate and up-to-date and strives to prevent unauthorized access, leakage, loss, or damage to personal information. We continuously improve and correct our information security measures.
  5. The Company responds sincerely and promptly to inquiries and requests for disclosure, correction, or deletion of personal information from customers.

2.Purposes of Use of Personal Information

When the Company receives personal information from customers, we clearly state the purposes of use in advance and use the information within the scope of those purposes. If it becomes necessary to use personal information beyond the scope of the stated purposes, we will notify the customer and obtain their consent before using it. The purposes of use of personal information held by the Company are as follows:

  • Responding to inquiries and consultations
  • Fulfillment of contracts

2.Personal Information of Job Applicants

  • Providing and contacting job applicants (including interns) with recruitment information
  • Managing recruitment operations at the Company

3.Proper Acquisition of Personal Information

The Company acquires personal information by lawful and fair means.

4.Provision of Personal Information

1.The Company does not disclose or provide personal information to third parties except in the following cases:
1.With the customer’s consent
2.When required by law
3.When necessary to protect human life, body, or property, and it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent
4.When outsourcing the handling of personal information to the extent necessary to achieve the purposes of use
5.When business succession occurs due to mergers, company splits, business transfers, or other reasons

2.Notwithstanding the above, the Company may provide the customer’s address, name, phone number, etc., to affiliated companies or agents when it is deemed appropriate for providing services or responding to inquiries. In such cases, customers can request the Company to stop providing personal information to the relevant affiliated companies or agents.

For inquiries regarding the disclosure, correction, deletion, etc., of personal information, please contact us through the inquiry form.

6.Other Matters

  1. Access Information: The Company may obtain access log information to provide better services. Please note that the acquisition of access logs is not intended to identify personal information.
  2. Cookies: The Company uses cookies on some parts of the site to provide a more comfortable user experience. Cookie and IP address information alone cannot identify specific individuals and are not considered personal information. Cookie information can be rejected through browser settings.
  3. Use of Google Analytics: The Company uses Google Analytics to collect and analyze access logs to understand site usage. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect logs without including personally identifiable information. Data collected through the use of Google Analytics is managed based on Google’s privacy policy.
